School Board

The school has a highly effective School Board that consists of parent representatives and community groups that guides and supports the School’s vision.

Parent and community representation characterised by a wide ranging skill set and experience, together with contextual understanding, supports developing board oversight of school improvement. The inclusion of representatives from business, finance and local government guides commendable connection to the community and supports achievement of the school’s vision.

PBS Excursion

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Our PBS focus for this term is Respect (being polite kind and friendly). During the PBS lesson tomorrow, your child will be participating in different activities in order to apply their PBS values in the community.

Students will be walking from school to the locations where they will complete their various tasks.

Location: St Johns Sub Centre and Boyup Brook Primary

Excursion Date: Friday, 31March 2023

Times: 11:15am - 12:30pm

Supervision: Mr Steve Franklyn ( High school and Primary school sites)

Mr Bruce Cornish (St. John Sub Centre)

Please ensure students bring their hat and drink bottle.

Easter Raffle Tickets

30 Mar 2023

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Just a friendly reminder that students can purchase Easter raffle tickets tomorrow at their class (HS from student councillors) before school, during recess and lunch. Tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5. Parents of younger students can place money in a sealed envelope with instructions for number of tickets for teachers/student councillors. We have made lots of awesome hampers for prizes! Easter hampers will be on display at the Year 1/2 Primary Assembly today (doors open at 2pm, for a 2:15pm start). Everyone is welcome!

Playgroup Messy Play

Hi Kindy Parents!

Our class have been invited to attend ‘Playgroup Messy Play’ this Monday 27th March.

Please could you send your child to school in old clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty, and pack your child’s school uniform into their school bag.

We will be walking to and from Playgroup. If you would like to accompany us on our walk, we will be leaving at 9:15 and returning by 10:45. Alternatively you may like to meet us at Playgroup to join in the messy fun!

Mindflight 7 at Bridgetown HS

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Your child is invited to attend the Mindflight 7 experience at Bridgetown High School on Thursday 30^th March from 10.15am to approximately 1.15pm. Students will be given the opportunity to gain experience in careers they could not gain access to in everyoday life through participating in Mindflight 7 virtual reality. Students will travel to and from the event at Bridgetown High School via bus with Mr Braydon Ridley.

Mindflight7 Career Taster Experience

Dear Parents/Guardians,

All Year 9 students have been given the opportunity to take part in the Mindflight 7 excursion on Thursday 30 March 2023 in Bridgetown. This amazing virtual reality experience will see students exploring career options and will hopefully assist in making some choices about future pathways. Please see the attached flyer for further information about the experience.
