Telethon Kids Institute
29 Nov 2022
The Telethon Kids Institute are conducting an important research study in our town of Boyup Brook called, “Amped Out: an energy drink study”.
For the study to be successful, they need as many children as possible in grades 7-10 to participate in two 60-minute group discussions with other children, 6 months apart. The same is also required for parents to participate in two 60-minute group discussions with other parents, 6 months apart. The research findings will be used to inform future policies and practices related to energy drink intake in children.
Both the child information sheet and consent form, and parent information sheet and consent form, will be distributed to each student to take home and complete.
Your child has been selected to participate in helping with the Annual Seniors Luncheon. This is a wonderful way for our students to represent our school and create positive relationships with our community members. As a “Thank You”, students will be provided with lunch at the event.
Excursion Name:Senior Citizens Lunch
Purpose of Excursion: They will be helping with the preparation of the luncheon and then will help to serve the lunch.

P&C Morning Tea
28 Nov 2022
1st December - A Date to Remember
The P&C committee would like to be more active in the school and help bring a smile to students’ faces… so we have decided to provide morning tea for both sites. We are hoping parents would have time (ha ha) ? to bake a cream-free and nut-free something e.g. sweet or savoury muffins, slice, biscuits… These can be dropped off any time before the 1st of December to be frozen for the day.
The morning tea would be available for a gold coin donation at recess, on Thursday 1st December, at both sites. If you are able to assist on the day from 10:30-11:00am, that would be awesome.
If you are able to assist in some way, could you please indicate on the attached form link.
Due to the high temperatures and UV rating forecast for next week, please ensure that all students have a rash vest to wear at swimming lessons. If they do not have a rash vest, please provide a t-shirt to be worn in the pool.
